Letter Writing Process (How it Works)

Sponsor to Child

  • When the Sponsor has a relationship with a child, they can write a letter to their child

  • On the website, once the Sponsor is logged in and viewing their sponsored children, under the Actions drop down, click Write a Letter

  • A new page will appear where the sponsor can write a letter to their child. Sponsors can also choose to upload an image to send to their child

  • Once the sponsor submits the letter, they will be redirected to their letters grid where they can see that the letter they just submitted is in review

  • It is now up to the admin to review and either accept or reject their letter

  • Once the letter is accepted, the admin will print out the letter for the child from the sponsor which will also print out a template for the child to write a letter back to their sponsor.

  • Once the child writes a letter, the admin will scan the file to the computer and upload the file

  • SiteStacker will automatically match the letter based on the QR code on the bottom of the child letter

  • Once the letter is matched, the Admin can now approve or reject the child letter.

  • Once the letter is accepted, the sponsor can now view and print the child letter

Child to Sponsor(Admin)

  • When the Child has a relationship with a sponsor, they can write a letter to their sponsor

  • It is up to the Admin to kick off the process for a child to write their sponsor.

  • On the admin dashboard on the All Sponsored Children page, the admin will select the children they want to write a letter. Once selected, under Actions the admin will select Download Child Letters and this will download a template with a QR code.

  • The admin will then give the children the template to write their letter on

  • Once the child writes the letter, the admin will scan the letter and upload this into SiteStacker and SiteStacker will automatically match the letter based on the QR code on the bottom of the child letter

  • It is now up to the admin to review and either accept or reject the child letter

  • Once the letter is accepted, the sponsor will now have a letter to view and print

  • The sponsor can also choose to write a letter back to their child

  • Once the child writes a letter, the admin will scan the file to the computer and upload the file
